ODI AND T20 CRICKET WORLD CUP WINNERS LIST
     The Cricket World Cup for One Day Internationals (ODIs) and the T20 World Cup are two important events in international cricket, managed by International Cricket Council (ICC) captivating fans worldwide.
    The ODI World Cup, first held in 1975, features the 50-over format, where each team gets a maximum of 50 overs to bat and bowl. The tournament, traditionally held every four years. Teams from around cricket loving countries participate with full enthusiasm. Teams battle through group stages, knockout rounds, and finally end in a nerve-wracking final to claim cricketing supremacy.
   On the other hand, the T20 World Cup is a relatively newer addition to the cricketing age, introduced in 2007. it features the fast-paced Twenty20 format making the fans more enjoyment out of short matches as compares to 50-50 overs. This format condenses the game into 20 overs per side, leading to explosive batting, newer strategies, and nerve wrecking encounters. The T20 World Cup showcases the best teams from around the globe, captivating audiences with fast and thrilling experience of cricket. It has quickly gained popularity, drawing both cricket enthusiasts and newcomers to the sport with its entertainment value.
   ODI  tournaments are played at an interval of four years gap. T20 tournaments are planned to be played at an interval of two years gap. These are hosted by one of the participating/cricket loving country.
   In 2023 ODI world cup played in India from 5th Oct 23 to 19 Nov 23. Australia won the match beating India in the final by 06 wickets. There are total 13 world cups held till date and out of these India has been crowned with the title two times  i.e in 1983 and 2011.  Australia is the maximum time winner of ODI world cup of 06 times. Also. It has won the world cup three consecutive times in cricket history in 1999, 2003 and 2007. West Indies has also been placed in second position along with India winning the world cup two times in 1975 and 1979. Â
England has hosted the ODI world cup five times individually. India has also hosted in total four times, three times in collaboration with Pakistan and Bangladesh as partner host country and in 2023 individually.
